There are so many positive things going on in our classroom right now.
*The kids are working really hard getting ready for conferences.
*They are enjoying the warmer weather!
*They are still loving the rainforest unit that is coming to an end.
A quick note: On Monday, 3rd grade is supposed to be getting a new student. As of right now he will be placed in Mrs. Clark's class, but since we share rooms this is vital information to all of us. He is allergic to nuts. So both 3rd grade classrooms will become a nut-free zone. If you send treats or are wanting to celebrate a birthday, treats will now need to be prepackaged, with all ingredients listed clearly. Sorry for the inconvenience with this, but it is vital that we have all students safety and best interest in mind. Thank you in advance!
On Friday, conference notes when home. Please call the office or email me if there is a scheduling conflict.

This week we
will not have a Basal story. Instead will will review for our unit quiz and take some extra time to finish work before spring break. We will review and focus on a few of our different comprehension strategies we have been learning this year.
Science-
Mrs. Clark has been using science time to discuss the water cycle. I believe she is planning a few more weather themed activities before spring break.
